As part of England Football’s Made For This Game campaign, we partnered to create a content series bringing together voices from across the country, from lifelong Lionesses supporters to first-time followers finding their place in the stands.
The series explored the rich, cultural crossovers of fandom, from the father-daughter duo who travel internationally to follow the team, to the Battle Axes, an over-40s grassroots club playing purely for joy and connection. We also spotlighted spaces where football connects with other worlds, from AKIN, a Manchester supper club, to Space for Girls in Birmingham and Gyals in Notts, an all-female DJ collective.
Because like a supper club, you never know who you’ll be sitting next to at a football match, but you’ll be united by a shared love, whether it’s the game, the food, or the music
