We Are Female Fans
For the last few years, if you've ever googled "female football fans" - the returned images are often over-sexualised and unrepresentative of the female fans we know and love. In response to this, we've teamed up with major football sponsor Carabao Energy Drink, to launch the #WeAreFemaleFans campaign.
Ahead of the 2018 World Cup, we'll be trying to get our images of female football fans to the top of the search engine image results - levelling the playing field if you will! We're working with Carabao to call on fans to share news articles about the campaign on social media using the hashtag #WeAreFemaleFans. By doing so, you’ll be helping change the face of female football fans on the internet!
